Getting to know your objectives
Read p. 290-295 of your textbooks (including the diagrams). Go into Google Classroom and find the 2-column note assignment. Create a document using that assignment, and take 2-column notes over all of the I can statements above. Yes, ALL of them! You need to have some background knowledge of the I can statements before you do the activities that follow!
Turn in your two-column notes when you're done by clicking on the "turn in" button at the top of your document. Mrs. E will give you feedback on your notes - and you will be required to fix anything that needs fixing! All of the answers are in your book. We will not be reviewing the notes as a class - you'll be getting feedback, asked to fix your notes, and then turn them back in for more feedback.
For in-class activities, we will be focusing on the last two I can statements - Objectives #2d and 2e.

Objectives #2a, 2b, & 2c
Show your notes to Mrs. E when you're finished. When you have the notes such that they are at a level 9, Mrs. E will direct you to take the Objectives #2a, 2b, and 2c progress check in Juno.
Objectives #2d & 2e
1. View the video below concerning how aquifers form (Objective #2d). Add in anything you need to your notes, and groove out to the background music while you're watching.
2. When you're done watching the video, read this article and describe the difference between the two types of aquifers in your notes.
2. When you're done watching the video, read this article and describe the difference between the two types of aquifers in your notes.
Now watch the video below about the Ogallala aquifer, noting how what is in the video connects to the water cycle and how aquifers are formed. Also watch for any issues there are with recharge of the aquifer.
3. Go to Google Classroom and find the assignment titled "Objective #2e Activity." Read the directions, do it with quality, grace, and dignity, and then turn it in using Google Classroom when you're finished.
4. Read the document below. (Can't see it? Click here.) If you have any questions about what you are to do see Mrs. E; if not, get started! Mrs. E will put out some materials, but she will not provide all of the materials you may need. You will present this to Mrs. E when you're finished, and you will receive a score on Objectives 2d and 2e.

Objective #2 Progress Check
When you have completed all of the activities above (and presented your groundwater model to Mrs. E), you may take the Objective #2 overall progress check in Juno.
